This summer, many Philadelphia-area families will be heading “down the shore.” Comcast makes it easy for customers to stay connected while on vacation with free Xfinity apps — from streaming  live TV and DVR recordings on mobile devices, to monitoring the house with XFINITY Home, and sharing those special moments with family with Xfinity Share. Here’s how to make the most of your summer travels:

Take your DVR to go:

The next-generation X1 DVR with Cloud Technology allows customers to live stream their entire channel lineup and DVR recordings on computers and mobile devices while in the home, and even download DVR recordings to watch wherever and whenever they want.

Send live video to any X1 TV:

XFINITY Share provides the ability to live stream video recorded on a phone – so customers can send video of the kids on the beach right to any XFINITY X1 customers.

Check in on the kids (or the pets!):

XFINITY Home features 24/7 security monitoring and a suite of new home automation services including remote video monitoring so you know exactly what’s happening at home while you’re away. Enhanced lighting and climate control means no more worrying about forgetting to turn the lights out or coming home to a sweltering house.  Custom text and e-mail alerts on mobile devices. 

Never miss another show:

XFINITY TV Go app allows customers to watch live television anywhere from more than 70 networks, TV shows and movies On Demand, and even download select titles for offline viewing.

Get connected:
Thousands of XFINITY WiFi hotspots are located throughout Jersey Shore locations, allowing customers to experience fast Internet service at locations including boardwalks, parks, malls and shopping districts. Customers can find the closest hotspot with the XFINITY WiFi app based on an address search or current location.

Manage your services:

XFINITY My Account offers remote bill payment, checking connection status, managing service appointments and troubleshooting technical issues. If you have a question, customers can also tweet us directly through the app or schedule a convenient time for a customer service agent to call you.
