Atlantic City is decking the halls to make sure your holidays are merry, but even before the switch turns on the lights for Black Friday and Santa begins his rounds, there are some great ways to get into the holiday spirit throughout the area.

November 15:

November 23-January 3:

Tropicana’s Holiday Musical Light Show in The Quarter dazzles with interactive lights timed to an array of musical selections, with shows presented every hour on the hour from noon until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon until midnight Friday-Sunday.  It all kicks off with a tree lighting ceremony November 23 at 1:00 p.m. http://tropicana.net/entertainment/

 

November 27:

Gift certificates go on sale for Atlantic City Restaurant Week.  Everybody’s favorite stocking stuffer will go on sale on Black Friday, available online at www.acrestaurantweek.com or in person at the Atlantic City Visitor Welcome Centers located on the Boardwalk at Mississippi Avenue (Boardwalk Hall) and on the Atlantic City Expressway at mile marker 3.5.  The gift of good taste will be accepted at dozens of fine area restaurants during Restaurant Week, scheduled for March 6-12, 2016, when value-priced special menus will be served for $15.16 for lunch and $33.16 for dinner (tax, beverage and gratuity not included).

 

November 27:

CRDA lights up your (Atlantic City) life.  Nothing says “holidays” more than decorated light poles, trees and garlands.  Atlantic City turns on the holiday charm on Black Friday with festive décor at Center City Park on Atlantic Avenue between North and South Carolina Avenues, along Atlantic Avenue, at the foot of the Atlantic City Expressway and along Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard, courtesy of the Casino Reinvestment development Authority.

 

November 28:

AC Craft Market – Holiday Edition: Small Business Saturday at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University at the Wave Garage.  Resident shops and artists as well as additional local artisans present their goods for sale along with DIY Kids Crafts, gift wrapping, holiday sales and more.  www.artsgarageac.com

 

November 28 & 29:

Atlantic City Ballet presents It’s a Shore Holiday at the Claridge Hotel-Celebrity Theater.  This Radio City-style review features contemporary and classical dance set to holiday tunes, along with singers and a live band, creating a unique celebration.  www.acballet.org.

 

December 3 through the holiday season:
